Sennhütte Engstligenalp, 3715 Adelboden (BE)

For guests who like a traditional-style, cosy atmosphere, the Engstligenalp Sennhütte above Adelboden in the Bernese Oberland (Switzerland) offers suitable group accommodation at a favourable price. The hut represents an ideal alternative to the mountain guesthouses and invites clubs and schools for ski weekends or ski camps.
Open in winter an summer, our hut is located above the village of Adelboden, famous for its ski world cups, 150 m from the top terminal of the cable railway. Open in summer and winter the hut offers 80 beds. There are also 20 beds in the Engstligenalp mountain hotel (K-0288-0195) that can be used by our guests.
We have been a popular starting point for the winter sports training (Alpine and Nordic skiing, ski touring etc.) for various organisations. The Engstligenalp plateau is a cultural landscape of national importance and a nature reserve including two waterfalls (600 metres). In summer, the area offers ideal conditions to hold conferences and workshops.
