Casa Azzurra, house for music, youth and education in Vira (Tessin, Switzerland) at the Lake Maggiore.
An old Ticino house, in the midst of the romantic fishing village of Vira, totally renovated and rebuilt, a stone's throw away from the lakeside. Massive bunkbeds with quality matresses and nordic sheets provide a good sleeping comfort.
All the rooms have running water. Chimney room, saloon with video and TV, CD and tape deck, overhead projector and magnetic blackboard! Modern kitchen featuring a deep-freezer, espresso machine, double oven. Big playground for children, hard ground for basketball, to be used outside school hours or on agreement.
Accessible 50 metres from the bus stop or ten minutes from the railway station Magadino-Vira.
The house is only suitable for calm groups. Noise during the night can't be tolerated in the historical centre of the village.
Normally a weekly flat charge applies instead of a rate per person/night.
