The Institut Melchtal is located in an idyllic mountain setting in central Switzerland (canton Obwald). It is ideal for self catering groups up to 20 (part) or 90 persons (k-10373-9691).

The sleeping places are divided into rooms of 1, 2, 4 and 6. There is a washbasin and a wardrobe with every bed.

There are a school kitchen with dining hall as well as different common and rehearsal rooms. The multipurpose hall with seats and scene can be used for concerts, celebrations, sports etc. Two generous roof terracess with a wonderful view onto the mountains as well as a lawn playground complete our offer.

The house is suitable for music camps, school camps, family holidays, rehearsal weekends and sport weeks.

By a short transfer by public transport you will reach the ski and hiking area of Melchsee Frutt, the place of pilgrimage Flüeli-Ranft, the Lake of Sarnen and the city of Lucerne.

In close vicinity there are a children's playground, a family barbecue area and a dense network of hiking trails.
