Chalet Le Vaticamp, 1925 Finhaut (VS)

The wooden chalet Le Vaticamp is located in Finhaut (Valais, Switzerland) between Martigny and Chamonix, access via Col de la Forclaz or by the Mont Blanc Express. It is a recreational and peaceful area on the southern hillside with a view on the glacier and the Aiguilles du Tour. Volleyball field, 2 tabletop football, a large common room with DVD projection facilities and a terrace for Barbecue. A modern kitchen for self-catering (half-board in a local restaurant).
Winter: ski tours or snow walking, on request with a mountain guide. One can easily reach the ski runs in the skiing region of Marécottes (Switzerland), Chamonix, Tour and Argentiére (France) by the Mont-Blanc Express or by car (10-20 minutes). Sledge-run, ski tours close by.

In summer one can venture on hikes enjoying the view of the Mont-Blanc. There are tourist attractions such as the artificial lake of Emosson, Dinosaurs traces, and the gorges of the Tête Noire, the nature reserve of the Aiguilles Rouges, the zoo and outdoor swimming pool of Marécottes and indoor swimming pool of Finhaut, gym hall at a 100 metres, climbing.

The canton Valais imposes high standards on camps with children and adolescents and on group accommodation. Please ask the landlord to show you his authorisation for the accommodation of youth groups before you make the booking.
