The Ruderhaus is situated in a prealpine landscape and a quiet environment at the edge of Sarnen (canton of Obwalden, Central Switzerland), only a few kilometres from Lucerne. 500 m to the lake shore, to the boat ramp and to the lido. A few minutes to the barbecues at the river Melch Aa, 5 minutes to the train station. Beautiful tour from here along the Lake of Sarnen and the Lake of Lungern across the Brünig Pass to Brienz and Interlaken.
The modern house offers generous bedrooms on 2 storeys with lift. With 2 live-in kitchens we can comfortably accommodate different families and groups of up to 15 persons each. A large common room with TV on the ground floor can accommodate all house guests. You may opt to have the meals served here by a catering company. If you chose half or full board we serve you breakfast here and you will enjoy lunch and dinner according to your wishes in a restaurant nearby. In front of the house you will find an outdoor fireplace.
For sportspersons: training room in the basement, gymnastic halls of the high school, new sports facilities for soccer and athletics.
