The former lordship's residence Chalet Montanara is located in the centre of Lens (Valais, Switzerland).
Location Thanks to its location at the south-west of the mountains, our guests enjoy a wonderful view over the southern part of the village, the "Christ-Roi" hill and the south of the Valais Alps.
Building style The house was built in 1618 and completely renovated in 1973. All the interior wood panelling was carefully leached and treated in a traditional manner; chalk paint inside on top of roughcast.
Facades The house is built of thick natural stone walls, only the old upper part is made of massive larch wood beams. The windows - in tune with the typical Valais architecture - are made of wood and of course have mullions and transoms.
An occupation with 12 persons is ideal, with additional beds up to 15 can be accommodated.
The canton Valais imposes high standards on camps with children and adolescents and on group accommodation. Please ask the landlord to show you his authorisation for the accommodation of youth groups before you make the booking.
